A Dash shout out to Papa John's Pizza team member

Would I give a shout-out to a Team Member from a merchant place who gave me an awesome service?


Sat, 3 pm. I was heading to the customer (the diner) when the pizza box accidentally slipped. It didn't come out of the box and is still edible, just not a presentable look. I called my Dasher Support. They told me I don't have to pay for a new pizza, they will either give a refund to the customer or if the customer wants a replacement, it will be free, but I won't get my payout. Regarding the fallen pizza, Dasher Support said that I can either discard the fallen pizza or keep it. Of course, I will keep it. It's still edible and clean. However, Dasher Support thanked me for being honest and responsible. I also called the customer and told him what happened. He wasn't upset. He was appreciating my effort and didn't mind waiting for me to come with the new pizza. I had to double back to the merchant for that. Then I called the merchant about what happened and I will reorder it. Sal, the team member, remembered me. He said to just drive back and he will prepare a new pizza. I got there and he told me I don't have to pay anything, it's on the house, for free, no charge. I was ecstatic! That means, my payout is intact (it was about $10 worth) and the customer will get a new pizza. And I also get to eat the fallen pizza. Everybody is happy.


So, yes, I would give a shout out to an awesome team member from any merchants without hesitation. Papa John's Pizza, your Sal is such a great asset. I appreciate his awesome service and kindness to my mishap.
