The tired but smiling Dashing look

Will a Dasher still look Dashing after they come back from a long Dash?

Sat, 7:36 pm. I came home at night with that tired look after a long Dash. But hey... I believe I still have that Dashing look. He he he. Positive affirmation, works, isn't it?

It was already pitch dark outside and oh-so bitter cold. But it's oh-so warm inside the house. Such a blessing. A lot of workers are still out there in the open, working. Thank you. Bless their hard work!

In the Winter season like now, I don't go Dash well past 8 at night. Because the light of day is gone at about 6 pm. The air outside would be too cold for me who has to get on and off the car, walk to the merchants to pick up food orders, and deliver it to the customers, the Diners. Plus, a lot of houses don't have a clear house number for us Dashers to read and find, at night. Dark. And, the parking is a challenge too. A lot of workers are home already and many of them park their cars by the curb of their houses.

I have been Dashing on the road for hours' end. Of course, I get tired from driving the whole day. But my whole day is 3-4 hours in the afternoon lunchtime and 2-3 hours in the evening dinner time. I don't do morning breakfast time. I'm not a morning person. :) Same schedule I did about three years ago when I did a few months of food delivery driving gig work with my son Kay. We only do 6 hours a day too. I don't do 8 hours or 12 hours Dash. It's not my full-time job. I have other dreams that I am working on. Dashing is a good option.

Many Dashers do Dashing for 8 to 12 hours. It's a full-time job for many Dashers. My old bones can't do it anymore. Literally. LOL! In the sanctuary of my home, what people don't see... I have my shoulders bone cracking from the on and off driving position, my fingers were cramping from holding the steering wheel for long hours. The ball of the foot was swollen from driving. I have back pain from constant sitting and getting off-on the car. My bottom feels flat and burning from sitting for a long time. Dashing is not for the faint of heart.

But I have that smile because I am thankful. I have a lot to be thankful for. See, I have a job to go to. A warm house to come to. I came home safe and sound. I know my payout will be paid in a week (later on I use a pay direct). I know that I will be able to pay bills. I know I can send money to my mother and daughter back home. I can fill out the gas even though the gas price is high rocketing. I know I will have some spending money and I can add some money to my savings. A lot of blessings.
