Sun, 6:58 pm. I was hungry after a few hours of Dashing around. Plus it is dinnertime too. I pulled over to one of the Dash hotspots and Pause Dash.
So, what is it with a Dasher and her rice? :)
As an Indonesian, rice is part of our daily menu. My bae thoughtfully would stock rice bags for me at home. And once a while when I have time, or I make time, I will bring rice to eat in the car while Pause Dash.
Back in the car, I dive-in into my bag and took out a food container. I brought with me my rice and cut-out leftover beef. Coming from a country where rice is the main dish, I make it a point that rice is also on my menu here in America. And now that I'm Dashing, once in a while, I will bring rice as my lunch or dinner. I'd bring my side dish such as chicken, beef, pork, or "tempe", to eat with my rice. And "sambal". The chili sauce. Yum! And then I will alive again and ready for a few more hours of Dashing.
