Geared up for Winter Dash

How do I as a Dasher gear up for wintertime?

Sun, 12:35 am. For a Sunny Girl like me, I layered pretty thickly. But the past two years, after a long decade, I finally acclimated to the cold. No longer 4 to 5 layers like I did when I got here to this four seasons country a decade ago. Where I came from, it's a two-season country. Just rain and dry, each for six months. That's why I'm used to the warm sunny weather and rain. I am comfortable with thunder and lightning and driving in the rain doesn't agitate me. I can handle Fall and Spring but I don't like the freezing Winter.

A dear family member, Cheryle, gave me a pair of leather gloves as a Christmas gift last year. I alternated it with my own thicker hand gloves. And I add a wool beanie, winter boots, thermal underwear, sometimes I add leggings, thick socks, a scarf, and a winter jacket. It helped keep me warm. Getting off and in the car, and walking up and down the open stairs of the apartments in Winter is such a challenge. It was more bearable in the daylight with the sun up but when night hits and the night time is earlier than in Summer, it feels more bitter cold. I would many times just call it a day. I cut short my Dashing and went home.
